Terms for the Provision of the JANET Service
The Terms for the Provision of the JANET Service apply to the provision by JANET(UK) of a connection to JANET. They define the services provided by JANET(UK), the responsibilities placed upon an organisation receiving these services, and any charges that may be made for these services.
The Terms refer to the following supplementary documents:
)Charges are collected only for Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), the Higher Education Funding Councils (HEFCs) themselves, and for those Research Councils which have chosen to fund their JANET connections in this manner. By agreement with the JISC Executive, a number of JISC services also attract a charge.
