Applying to join the JANET News Reader Service
The application should be made by an individual from Computer Services or equivalent; end users with questions about reading News should speak to their local Computer Services support staff. As part of the application process you will be required to sign a declaration confirming that you will comply with the requirements specified in the Information for local managers.
The information you supply will be held and processed in JANET(UK)'s databases, and used to implement and support your use of the JANET News Reader Service. It will not be supplied to any external body for any other purpose, nor will it be used by JANET(UK) for any other purpose.

JANET Customer Service (JCS) will pass your application to the JANET News Reader Service manager within JANET(UK)'s Production Services Division, who will consider it. You will hear from JCS, from a News Reader server operator or from the JANET News Reader Service manager within two working days.
